Rehabilitation Resources

Rehabilitation professionals are constantly trying to continue their education and clinical skills (i.e. their tool box).  Athletic Training and Conditioning, Inc. over the past 20 years has compiled resources to help the rehabilitation professional and their clients.  A partial list of these resources can be found below:

  • Mike Reinold, PT, DPT, SCS, ATC, CSCS and Kevin Wilk, PT, DPT, along with Dr. James Andrews, have compiled an amazing catalog of upper extremity and lower extremity rehabilitation protocols.  Additionally, these leading authorities offer exceptional webinars for continuing education purposes.

  • Brad Walker of The Stretching Institute has taken stretching and client education on how to stretch to a completely different level.  The Stretching Institute's InstantStretch Software is a wonderful tool for the rehabilitation professional to create customized stretching routines for their clients.  Additional resources from The Stretching Institute include books, DVD's, posters/charts, and bands.  Visit The Stretching Institute's website.

  • Many times rehabilitation professionals are asked their opinion about nutrition and nutritional supplementation.  Unfortunately, today's society doesn't consume the correct portions of essential vitamins and minerals.  Therefore, to begin healthier eating habits, Athletic Training and Conditioning, Inc. recommends ProGrade Nutritional Products (www.progradenutritionstore.com) to those who inquire.  ProGrade Nutrition offers expert education from a Registered Dietician on meal replacement, protein consumption, healthy snacks, multi vitamins for men and for women, weight maintenance, children's vitamins, pre and post exercise nutrition, essential fatty acids, and amino acids.

  • Mike Reinold, PT, DPT, ATC, CSCS has also teamed up with renowned sports performance coach Eric Cressey, CSCS to create the Optimal Shoulder Program.  This program gives the rehabilitation professional an exceptional functional anatomy and shoulder performance resource.

  • Eric Cressey, CSCS and Mike Robertson, CSCS have produced an excellent form and function resource entitled Building the Efficient Athlete.  Eric and Mike use famous works such as Janda and Sahrmann to help the rehabilitation professional simplify movement dysfunctions.
