Functional Anatomy Conditioning Tests

Functional Anatomy Conditioning Tests are obtained through Video Analysis (V - F. A. C. T.).  Athletes undergo a Posture Exam, a Dynamic Movement Exam, and a Sport Specific Movement Exam.  These three comprehensive exams identify underlying orthopedic and neuromuscular movement dysfunctions.

Static posture exam reveals inability to assume an "athletic position". This posture causes an inability to react quickly and would allow an opponent to get around this athlete easily.

Winging and excess upward rotation of right shoulder blade in an overhead athelete (baseball player or swimmer).  This will lead to posterior and anterior shoulder pain.

Deviating away from left side indicating a weak left hip in a right-handed hitting softball player. This will lead to a lack of power.
