Exercise Programs

Exercise programs come in many different forms and shapes (pun intended). The reasoning behind these different exercise programs is based upon your desired results.

Below is a table of some sample exercise programs with the rationale for each one:

Epoc BodyBot

EPOC stands for Excess Post-Exercise Oxygen Consumption. It’s a scientific way of describing the calories you burn after you are done exercising.

With aerobic training, once you’re done, you no longer burn calories. That’s it. Done.

But with high intensity exercise (even as short as 4 minutes at a time) your body continues to burn calories for up to 2 days later.

Olympic Weight Lifting

Olympic lifting is designed to create power and explosiveness.  Coordination and body awareness are positive results gained from this type of training.

Dumbbell Exercises

Dumbbell exercises allow you to recruit increased number of muscle fibers resulting in greater strength gains than machine weight exercises.

Your core can become more activated since your body weight isn't being supported by a machine.

Additionally, a cardiovascular benefit can be gained when dumbbell exercises are used in a circuit.

No Weights Exericses

Using body weight exercises is a great way to exercise if you don't have access to a gym.  This type of exercise program can also be used for beginning exercisers to build a strength foundation.

Turbulence Training

Time efficient way to lose fat and gain muscle with interval training.

Underground Strength Training

Uses non-traditional exercises to build strength.
